You've heard of a "green roof." This is a green wall. It's alive. It's on Rue de la Verrerie, just around the corner from the Hôtel de Ville (from whence Bazaar de l'Hôtel de Ville). And it's even wilder-looking in the warmer months.

The Greenest Wall
Call me obsessed, but there are some special things going on at Paris's many super-duper-department stores, aka Grands Magasins. Since I've already devoted attention Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, and Le Bon Marché, I'll turn briefly to the smallest of the four, BHV, whose men's department (BHV Homme) has been designed to communicate "rugged" and "tenacious," at least from the outside.
