Guardienne

Call me a small-town kid in the big city for the first time, but I'm really excited about having someone to accept packages for me during the day when I'm not around. I found this in front of our door Friday morning:

"A package awaits you at the guardienne's lodge. Please come by to retrieve it. Thanks, La Guardienne."

Actually, this system feels more like college than real-life. Mostly, I'm just glad I don't have to go to some UPS store (or even the post office) after I miss a package three times.
