Belleville "Bread"

Last weekend, Louis and I made bagels. Our first efforts were so surprisingly pleasant and successful that this weekend I decided to try out another uncharted territory, in our house anyway: homemade flour tortillas! (Thanks, Julia, for the inspiration!)


Once again, we were amazed at how simple and tasty these were. Due to an unsuccessful search for black beans in our local Franprix, we decided to create a veggie wrap using the freshly made tortillas; some leftover cucumber, carrot, and zucchini marinated in French-style vinaigrette; and steamy, sticky jasmine rice.


I can't wait to make these again!

But in the meantime, does anyone have good suggestions for what we should make/bake next?
