One of the great resources for Americans in Paris is a print magazine and website called FUSAC (France USA Contacts). It's a bilingual venue for classified ads that can fall into any one of 29 different categories, including housing (in the US, France, and Canada), jobs, and the slightly sketchy "services." Maggie found her babysitting gig on FUSAC, and we also used it to look for apartments. Since we got here we haven't been checking the site (or reading the print version, for that matter), but every so often we're reminded of its existence. For instance, randomly seeing the FUSAC delivery van on its merry way.

Thanks for the cute mention and the photo of our truck. Our website however is www.fusac.fr not dot com. Can you correct that? Thanks, Lisa
ReplyDeleteHello from Virginia. I am the "proud mother" of Lisa of the FUSAC team and have seen an "idea" grow into a fantastic business over the last 20 years. Kudoos! Mom
ReplyDeleteWhoops! Thanks for the tip about the web address. Should be all fixed now.
